Overview
Caboolture District Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor ready to take the foundation we have in a committed core membership, potential laden resources, and the faith we have in Christ to lead us into our next phase of community and ministry as we seek to uphold our mission statement to be Committed to growing in Christ and going for Christ.
The congregation holds discipleship as our core value, seeking to Inform, Transform, In-reach and Outreach.
The Senior Pastor will be leading a ministry team made up of volunteer leaders, two associate pastors, and a full-time office assistant. They will meet the following characteristics:
- Calling: they will demonstrate a clear call to pastoral ministry and leadership in this church
- Character: humility, support and a close walk with God
- Competence: an appropriate theological education that leads to a steadfastness on the truth and authority of the Word of God
- Connectivity: recognising our values and ministry direction, including women in roles of ministry and leadership
- Capacity: Leadership experience is highly valued, however those still developing their leadership skills through mentorship will also be closely considered.
- Registered (or able to be registered) as a Minister with Queensland Baptist
Caboolture District Baptist Church can be found in the heart of the City of Moreton Bay, in the growth corridor between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Whilst we are currently a single service church, we see the opportunity to expand in the near future with continued growth.
