This year we are continuing in our pursuit to make much of Jesus. Paul’s call in this passage is the ‘vision’ of the commission that Jesus gave in Mathew 28:18-20; proclaim, warn (disciple), teach and witness. Discipleship begins with returning to our ‘first love’ of Jesus and walking with Him daily on an individual basis. Only then can we have any desire or motivation to proclaim Him. This year we will seek to ‘return to Galilee’ to the place of our first call from Christ and recapture the wonder of His Word and the simple joy of being known by Him and making Him known.
